Thinking Money for Kids
Posted on: December 26, 2024
Wednesdays, January 29 through February 26, 2025, 6:00 pm, Civic Center Library

Children ages 3-12 can join us for a five-week session of programs to learn about financial topics — like earning, saving, spending, sharing and budgeting — in a way that is both meaningful and fun. We will play interactive games that include hands-on learning activities. Games include: Pet Cents, Making Mooo-lah, Currency Conga and Penny Pinchers’ Party. Register online or by calling 586.751.0770.
Patrons can also soon check out a Playaway Launchpad tablet loaded with fun games, offered through the Thinking Money for Kids program. The Playaway Launchpads are kid-friendly tablets designed to continue learning at home. A home internet connection is not required.
This program is sponsored by a grant from the American Library Association (ALA) and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation.
