Teen Summer Reading Finale Lock-in: Build Rube Goldberg Machines
Posted on: July 17, 2017
Friday, August 4, 2017, 6-9 pm, Arthur Miller Library
Ever play the board game Mouse Trap? That’s a type of Rube Goldberg Machine!
To celebrate the end of summer reading, teens are welcome to join us at the Warren Public Library’s Summer Finale Lock-in at the Miller Branch to build one themselves. Teens will have free run of the library after hours to build Rube Goldberg-like chain reaction machines with items provided by Thumble Makerspace. They will supply tubes, tracks, Q-Ba Maze marble run, and their box of bots & props to help create amazing contraptions that will do…something!
Ages 12-17. This is a parent-free, after hours event. Pizza, pop, and snacks will be served.
Registration is required, please register here or call 586.751.5377.
