On Monday, July 15, at 6 pm at the Warren Civic Center Library join author Jaye Beeler and photographer Dianne Carroll Burdick for a photo tour, talk and tasting based on their delicious book, Tasting and Touring Michigan’s Homegrown Food: A Culinary Roadtrip (Arbutus Press 2012).
Through storytelling and spectacular photography, Jaye and Dianne spotlight Michigan’s culinary landscape from the Straits of Mackinac to Lake Michigan’s fruit belt and urban farms in Detroit. Nibble your way into summer’s ripeness with samples of Jaye’s pesto, berry tart, roasted tomatoes, and hand-crafted goat cheese.
