Robert Conroy is the award-winning author of 11 popular alternative history fiction novels, each taking place during different events in our nation’s history. His latest two books deal with a World War I in which Germany wins and the American Revolution in which the British are temporarily the victors.  Mr. Conroy perceives substantial benefit in considering alternative outcomes to our history and learning from them.

Please join us as Mr. Conroy joins us to discuss his work and do a book signing. Books will be available for purchase.

Local author Robert Conroy will be visiting the Warren Public Library’s Civic Center Library on Tuesday, December 11 at 7 p.m. to discuss his latest novel of alternate history, Rising Sun.

 Rising Sun imagines what would have happened if the U.S. Navy had not defeated the Japanese at the Battle of Midway. Mr. Conroy’s other alternate history novels have been described as “moving and thought-provoking” by Publishers Weekly and “engrossing and grimly plausible. . .the suspense holds up literally to the last page” by Booklist.
