Senior Bus Trip to Detroit Institute of Arts and American Songbook Standards Musical Performance

We’re thrilled to announce another FREE bus trip to the Detroit Institute of Arts for seniors age 55 and up, this time featuring a musical performance by Nicole New! Please note: You must be pre-registered to board the bus – no walk-ups will be accepted.
About the music:Vocalist Nicole New interprets the American Songbook, transcending genres and going beyond just singing the standards.
- Pick-up/Drop-Off Location: Front of Warren City Hall (One City Square, Warren, MI, 48093). There is free parking in the parking structure adjacent to City Hall as well as the streets surrounding City Hall.
- Pick-Up Time at City Hall: 12:00 pm – Please plan to arrive at City Hall no later that 12:00 pm. If you’re not seated and checked in by 12:00 pm, you may lose your spot.
- Departure from the DIA: 3:00 pm
- Estimated Return to City Hall: 3:45
Important reminders:
- Warren residents receive first preference.
- Space is extremely limited and we will not be able to add a second bus – don’t wait to sign up! You must be pre-registered to board the bus – no walk-ups will be accepted.
- If you are not seated and checked in by 12:00 pm you may lose your spot.
- Larger purses and backpacks will need to remain on the bus. The DIA will determine what size bags are acceptable, so please use your best judgment if you need to bring one with you.
- Admission to the DIA and the bus are free of charge. Costs for optional special exhibits, gifts, or food at the cafes are guest’s responsibilities.
