Author Jim O’Donnell will be visiting the Warren Public Library’s Civic Center Library on Monday, November 26 at 6 p.m. to discuss his novel, Benevolent Dictator.
Benevolent Dictator is O’Donnell’s first novel. In the year 2019, America watches live coverage of a nuclear-armed missile targeting New York City. Navy Commander Luke Shafer has seconds to decide whether to obey a presidential order or follow his instincts – while the fate of the nation hangs in the balance.
Publisher’s Weekly says “what could be perceived as a literary call to action during a time when Americans have lost their faith in their elected leaders and their taste for debating what the next viable step is on the global political stage, this first novel cum op-ed piece is worth a look-see“. Benevolent Dictator was also a semi-finalist in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award.
Don’t miss your chance to meet Jim O’Donnell! This event will take place in the Conference Room outside of the Civic Center Library. Books will be available to be purchased and signed at this event. To register, call 586.574.4564.
