Update- The Food for Thought campaign has been extended through May 16.
Next time you stop by the library to get something to read, considering bringing something along to help those in need as well.
From April 1-May 16, all Warren Public Library locations will be collecting donations of nonperishable food items as part of the Food for Thought campaign, a regional effort between local libraries and Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeast Michigan. Food banks see a decrease in inventory during the winter and early spring, so donations are needed to help feed hungry children, seniors, and families in your community!
To take part, bring in nonperishable food items and place them in donation boxes inside the library. For more information, call 586.574.4564.
