The Warren Public Library is one of a few libraries across the country that has been selected to receive the Flight Path grant from StarNet. Join us at the Civic Center Library in April and May as we celebrate and learn about birds.

This grant includes materials and a monetary honorarium to help cover the cost of events, programs, and outreach for the purpose of providing bird migration education. With more than one billion birds killed by window strikes each year in the United States alone, Flight Path explores the popularity of bird watching and provides our local community with fun activities to get to know their local birds and promote bird health and safety. This spring we will feature book displays, several programs, and activities that feature Michigan birds and bird related topics.

Our community partners include the Detroit Bird Alliance and the Huron-Clinton Metroparks.
