Cooking Matters! Cooking Class for Families

Thursdays, June 8 – July 13, 2017, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm, Maybelle Burnette Branch
Come cook at the library! Sponsored by the Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan, this six-part program features hands-on meal preparation as well as tips on basic nutrition, food safety, and food budgeting so that participants are able to plan and prepare low-cost and nutritious meals for themselves and their families. At least one adult and one child from each family will be expected to attend all six sessions.
