Dream Big Read BWSummer is here, so that means it is time for Summer Reading Club at the Warren Public Library!

Summer Reading Club runs from June 16 – August 4. This year, there are clubs for babies (0-2 years), children (2- 11 years), teens (12 – 17 years) and adults. All you have to do is register at any Warren Public Library branch and turn in reading forms throughout the summer. Grand prizes include Amazon Kindles (courtesy of Art Van Furniture) and VTech V.Readers for children. Vote in the Children’s Choice Book Awards

Voting for the 2012 Children’s Choice Book Awards, sponsored by the Children’s Book Council, is now open! Children and teens are encouraged to cast their vote among 30 finalists in six different categories. Categories include Book of the Year awards for K-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, 5th-6th grade, and Teens. There are also awards for Author of the Year and Illustrator of the Year. To cast your vote and see a list of winners for previous years, visit http://www.bookweekonline.com/voting. Voting ends May 3, and the winners will be announced at the annual Children’s Choice Book Awards Gala on May 7 as part of Children’s Book Week.
