What’s a BioBlitz? It’s a fun, intensive, short search for biodiversity in a specific location. Patrons of all ages are invited to attend, especially families with children. We will using smartphone apps like Seek and iNaturalist to help identify as many species of plants, animals, birds, and insects around the Warren Community Center. Join us to help discover all the nature that is around us!
Here is the schedule:
9 am – Arrival and check-in at the Miller Library. Light refreshments will be provided.
9:30 am – Overview of BioBlitz and familiarization with apps
10 am – BioBlitz (biodiversity survey of Warren Community Center grounds)
11 am – Wrap-Up
