Macomb County Community College will present a program that is designed to help parents and students understand more about the college process and how to prepare for college while still in high school. Topics to be discussed include career investigation, college discovery, and how to use resources that are available to high school and junior high students and parents to plan for the steps beyond high school.

Families are encouraged to attend this program. It will be held in the Conference Room located outside the library in Warren City Hall. Register online or call 586.574.4564.

Tweens and teens can forget the cold weather outside, with a Beach Party inside at the Miller Library!
We will enjoy an evening of fun in the sun with warm crafts, popsicles, beach volleyball, a flip flop toss, other summer games, and even try building edible “sand” castles at this after-hours lock-in.

For ages 10-14, teens 15-17 welcome, too.

Personalize a ceramic mug using special Sharpie markers while enjoying a hot chocolate. Then, create a hot chocolate mix to take home. Great to keep or give as a gift!

Teens are invited to an evening of fun to celebrate a great Summer! Join us for an after-hours lock in at the Dorothy Busch Library for a Glow Party! We’ll have all sorts of glow in the dark games and crafts, pizza, snacks, music and plenty of fun!

Wear a white or neon t-shirt to glow in the dark yourself!

Teens are invited to kick-off Summer Reading in style with their very own party! Join us for a free lock-in at the Civic Center Library Atrium where teens can challenge each other in the inflatable jousting arena, sing karaoke, play video games, create crafts, eat pizza, decorate cookies, a enter a cosplay contest, and have fun!

Open to teens entering 7th through 12th grade next fall.

No registration is required. Teens must show student ID at door or bring a parent to sign them in. This is a parent-free event. Doors lock at 7:00 pm, so don’t be late! For more information, please call 586.751.0770.
