We’re pleased to announce a new resource on the library’s website — the Community Services page under Research >> Recommended Websites. This page includes a wide range of local resources for assistance and human services for all residents of Warren, including seniors, veterans, homeless and residents with special needs. The services covered range from education, financial assistance, chore assistance and emergency food to tax help and transportation. There is also a section for volunteer opportunities in the community.
Do you need to buy a new washing machine or dryer? Perhaps you need a new car. Or, you may be interested in finding the best everyday products, from coffee to cereal. You can find out which product of these products is the best through the library’s subscription to ConsumerReports.org.
ConsumerReports.org is the companion website to Consumer Reports magazine. Through our subscription to ConsumerReports.org, you have access to all subscriber-level content, including product overviews, ratings, videos, and more. Additionally, you can browse electronic editions of the print Consumer Reports magazine from 2009 – present.
To access ConsumerReports.org, you will need a Warren Library Card. Move your mouse over Research, then Databases, then click on your branch. From the database list, select ConsumerReports.org.
