We are very excited to announce that beginning Friday, September 21 the Warren Public Library will be offering hoopla digital as one of our eResources. hoopla will give Warren Public Library cardholders access to a variety of content, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, digital music, streaming movies, and digital graphic novels. The best part about hoopla: there are no holds – if you see something in the catalog, you can immediately check it out. And like all digital content, there are no late fees! Warren patrons will be able to checkout out 3 hoopla items each month.

While you can’t checkout content until September 21, you can create and account and browse hoopla’s offering by visiting https://www.hoopladigital.com/. All you need is an email address and valid Warren Public Library card.

You will learn how easy it is to check out, read and listen to, and return eBooks and eAudiobooks from the library. You will never be stuck without a great read!

Just in time for back to school, we are happy to announce that the Warren Public Library now offers Tutor.com, a new program that offers students of all ages live, one-to-one help from professional tutors online.   Any community member with a library card can use Tutor.com’s Learning Suite from any computer or mobile device connected to the Internet by visiting their library’s website and clicking on Tutor.com.

The Tutor.com Learning Suite, a service of The Princeton Review, combines on-demand, real-time tutoring with several self-study tools to create a robust, personalized learning or job search experience. The live, online tutoring and job search support is available 7 days a week from 4 pm to 11 pm. Many other features such as The Princeton Review’s SAT/ACT Essentials Test Prep is available 24/7.

Zinio, our downloadable digital magazine service has recently undergone a name change and is now called RBdigital!

Everything you’ve come to love about Zinio is the same with RBdigital– we still have the same excellent choice of magazines, including CosmopolitanForbes,  National Geographic, Marie Claire and Newsweekas well as magazines that are only published digitally, such as PC Magazine, PC World, and Macworld. Magazines are still checked out to you without any loan limits – they do not need to be returned by a certain date.

RBdigital is still as easy to use as ever. Simply:

1. Go to our  RBdigital magazines page.
2. Click Create New Account near the top right.
3. Enter your name, library card number, email address, and create a password.
4. Browse and select a magazine you want to checkout.
5. Click Start Reading. You will now be able to read your magazine!

Magazines can be read on your computer in a web browser or through the new RBdigital app, which allows you to search for, checkout, and download magazines on your mobile device. It is available for Android, Apple, and Kindle Fire devices.
