The DIA Away trailer will visit the Warren Civic Center Library on Wednesday, July 18 from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm. This 53-foot expandable trailer has digital and hands-on stations to explore. The DIA Away trailer is a mobile, interactive museum and creative space that brings educational, hands-on art experiences into the community.

Come visit to think outside the box and “Think Like an Artist”! The trailer will be located outside of the Warren Civic Center.

By 2050, this number is projected to rise to nearly 14 million. Every 65 seconds someone in the United States develops the disease. A professional  from the Michigan chapter of he Alzheimer’s Association will give an overview of what you need to know about Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

When Hollywood Went to War is the real life story of nearly 90 celebrities who served in the United States Military during World War II.  These 1940’s celebrities, young and some older, took time out in their successful careers to protect and preserve our freedom. This presentation will explain where they went to serve and what battlefields and/or naval battles they experienced.
