We are celebrating the life and works of beloved children’s book author Theodor Geisel, better know as Dr. Seuss with special events at several of our branches in March! Please join us for the festivities!

Dr. Seuss’s Birthday! – Saturday, March 2, 11 am – 12 pm  – Miller Branch Library
Let’s celebrate this famous author by reading some of his wonderful stories. We’ll make some Oobleck to go along with “Bartholomew and The Oobleck” and make a treat to go along with “Green Eggs and Ham”. This program is for children ages 4-11. Registration required; call 586-751-5377 to register.

Join a presenter from the American Rosie the Riveter Association for a discussion on how the recruitment of women for this noble cause forever changed women’s role in the workplace.
