Kick off Summer Reading with an out of this world experience in a full-immersion planetarium dome from Dinosaur Hill Nature Center. The show, “Earth’s Wild Ride” will fly you above the night sky and let you check out the earth from above! Movie run time is 50 minutes and children must be in grades K-5 and able to sit without an adult. Younger siblings can enjoy a story and craft in the gym as well. Registration required. Teens are invited to kick-off Summer Reading in style with their very own party! Join us for a free lock-in at the Civic Center Library Atrium where teens can challenge each other in the inflatable jousting arena, sing karaoke, play video games, create crafts, eat pizza, decorate cookies, a enter a cosplay contest, and have fun!
Open to teens entering 7th through 12th grade next fall.

While playing beautiful music from the greatest classical composers, Paul Demick shares his musical journey as well as interesting facts about the composers and their compositions. Furthermore, Paul will educate listeners on his wonderful instrument, the marimba. This is an adults only program.

Join local Ukrainian author Iris Lee Underwood as she presents her latest book, The Mantle.
