Presenter Alan Naldrett will regale us with stories of the Toledo War (1835-36). Also known as the Michigan-Ohio War, it was an almost bloodless boundary dispute between the U.S. state of Ohio and the adjoining territory of Michigan over the territory now known as Toledo.

Chris Shelton from the All About Animals Rescue Michigan organization will speak on what the average resident can do to help stray cats in their area, including The ABC’s of Community Cat Care and Trap/Neuter/Return. Trafficking in persons is a serious crime and a grave violation of human rights. Every year, thousands of men, women and children fall into the hands of traffickers, in their own countries and abroad. Members of the Warren Police Department will be at the library to give an overview about the growing local problem of this heinous activity. This is an adults only program.
