The Burnette Branch welcomes the Lake St. Clair Metropark back to the library for this fun and educational program. Join as we listen to the animal kingdom members “rock out” with their various sounds and songs and learn why they make the sounds they do.

Our Summer Reading Programs for all ages begin Saturday, June 16 and every branch is kicking off summer reading with some great programs!
Civic Center Library – 1:00pm – 4:00pm – Summer Reading Kickoff and Imagination Theater
Come in and celebrate the opening day of Summer Reading Club. This year’s theme is Libraries Rock! Help us decorate the children’s room and make a craft! At 2:00 pm, get ready to be entertained! Children of all ages are invited to join Janet Marie & m’Archibald from the Imagination Theatre for a fun and silly sing-along hour to kick-off summer reading.The kick-off is for ages 0 to those entering grade 6 and will be in the library. No registration is required for this program.
