We invite you to join our newest program at the Miller Library: Raising Readers! This program is for our youngest of library patrons (ages 0-2) and follows the Library of Michigan’s Ready to Read program. It focuses on talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing. Each month will focus on a different theme and we will offer a take home kit with a board book, finger puppet, egg shaker, scarf, and various songs, rhymes and a simple craft to go along with the theme.

The theme for the month of February is colors. To obtain a kit please call the Miller Library at 586-751-5377.

Winter Reading Bingo

Winter Reading Bingo is a brand-new program at the Warren Public Library this year!  Stop by any of our four branches to pick up your bingo sheet. The sheets are conveniently available through curbside pickup, and can be obtained when you stop by for your books and other library items. You can also print a sheet below.  Participate in some fun literary challenges to get a bingo, and return your completed sheet to the nearest Warren Public Library branch.

Currently, sheets may be returned through the drop box at each location.  Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns through curbside pickup. We apologize for the inconvenience.  All completed sheets will be entered in a drawing to win a sweet treat! There are sheets available for kids, teens, and adults—fun for the whole family!

Christmas Storytime with Ms. Sharon

Call the Burnette Branch Library at 586-353-0579 to reserve a storytime kit that will be used to join along with Ms. Sharon’s Christmas Storytime that will be posted on Monday, December 7th to our Facebook page.

This special storytime will be available to watch through the end of the month. Kits will include jingle bells, a song sheet, and other fun activities.

Children ages 5-10 are invited to join Cathy from Techknow Kids as we whip up some fun Thanksgiving themed experiments!

Stop by Arthur Miller Branch Library from November 16 – 18 to pick up your supplies then join us online for a virtual program on November 19 at 6:30 through Zoom to go through some fun experiments!
