Copper mining was big, but dangerous business in Copper Country of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Come join Donna Simons, author of Copper Empire, as she shares her knowledge of the nine month-long Copper Strike of 1913, the dangerous working conditions that led to the labor strike, and the strike outcome that forever changed Copper Country.
