Come join Donna Simons, author of Copper Empire, as she shares her knowledge of the nine month-long Copper Strike of 1913, the dangerous working conditions that led to the labor strike, and the strike outcome that forever changed Copper Country.

form_right_imageLearn where to start tracing your family tree with free tools available through the library. Librarian and genealogist Cyndi Knecht will teach the basics of searching, using HeritageQuest, Ancestry Library Edition, and researching census, vital, and military records.

Please note this is a basic beginners class, however more advanced searchers are welcome. Feel free to bring your questions; you may learn something new!
